Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Overview
The New Age Vision Foundation (“NAV”, “we”, “us”) is a Section 8 non-profit company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U85499KA2026NPL218819). All monetary donations made through our website at newagevisionfoundation.org are processed securely via Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
This policy outlines the terms under which refunds or cancellations may be requested for donations made to NAV.
2. Donations Are Non-Refundable
As a charitable organisation, all donations received by NAV are utilised towards our mission of mental health awareness, women empowerment, and community outreach programmes. Donations are therefore voluntary and generally non-refundable.
By completing a donation, you acknowledge and agree that the contribution is made willingly and is intended as a charitable gift to NAV.
3. Exceptions — When Refunds Are Applicable
Refunds may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Duplicate payment: You were charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical error.
- Incorrect amount: A higher amount was debited than what you intended to donate, due to a system or processing error.
- Unauthorised transaction: The payment was made without your consent or authorisation.
- Failed transaction with debit: Your account was debited, but the transaction was not reflected as successful on our end.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under any of the above circumstances, please email us at connect2newagevision@gmail.com with the following details:
- Your full name (as entered during donation).
- Email address used for the donation.
- Transaction ID or Razorpay Payment ID.
- Date and amount of the donation.
- Reason for the refund request.
Refund requests must be raised within 15 days of the transaction date.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a valid refund request is received and reviewed, we will process the refund within 7–10 business days. The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used during the transaction.
Please note that the actual time for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. Cancellation of Donations
Once a donation is successfully processed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. If you believe there has been an error, please refer to Section 3 above for eligible refund scenarios and contact us promptly.
7. Material Donations
Material donation pledges (clothing, books, food, etc.) submitted through our website are coordination requests, not financial transactions. These can be cancelled or modified at any time by contacting us before the scheduled pickup. No refund applies to material donations.
